Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") forms part of the Terms of Service between AwoScan Intelligence Inc. ("Data Processor") and the Enterprise Client ("Data Controller"). It reflects our commitment to process Personal Data securely and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

1. Scope of Processing

The Data Processor will process Personal Data strictly on behalf of and according to the documented instructions of the Data Controller. Processing activities are limited to providing the AwoScan SaaS platform, including automated SEO auditing, crawling, and AI-driven insights generation.

2. Sub-Processors

AwoScan uses the following authorized sub-processors to deliver its service:

  • Neon Database: Managed PostgreSQL hosting (EU-Central Region)
  • Vercel: Edge hosting and Next.js deployment
  • Groq / OpenAI / Anthropic: Third-party LLM providers utilized for AIVisibility analysis (Data is NOT used for their model training).

3. Security Measures

AwoScan implements and maintains technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including:

  • Encryption of personal data at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
  • Continuous vulnerability scanning of our crawling agents.
  • Strict role-based access control (RBAC) within our internal network.
